Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan and Florence Pugh Spotted Filming ‘Little Women’

The March sisters are officially ready for their close-up!

Fans are losing it after stars Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh, and Eliza Scanlen were spotted on the set of Greta Gerwig’s highly anticipated adaptation of Little Women. The actresses were seen filming in the picturesque town of Harvard, Massachusetts, looking every bit like the iconic literary siblings.

The internet is already buzzing over the first glimpses of the cast in costume. In photos that have quickly gone viral on X and TikTok, the four leading ladies are seen bundled up in period-accurate capes and bonnets, walking arm-in-arm through a flurry of fake snow.

The upcoming film, based on the beloved Louisa May Alcott novel, follows the four March sisters as they navigate the highs and lows of growing up. From romantic rivalries and financial struggles to heartbreaking family tragedies, the story remains a timeless classic.

This project marks a major reunion for Saoirse Ronan and director Greta Gerwig. The powerhouse duo previously teamed up for the Oscar-nominated Lady Bird, and expectations are sky-high for their latest collaboration.

Fans are also thrilled to see Ronan reunite with her former costar Timothée Chalamet. The internet’s favorite heartthrob is set to play Jo’s charming and devoted love interest, Laurie.

The casting for this adaptation is nothing short of legendary. While Ronan takes on the fiercely independent Jo March, Florence Pugh—fresh off her buzzworthy performance in Lady Macbeth—will play the artistic Amy.

Rounding out the sisterhood is Sharp Objects breakout star Eliza Scanlen, who takes on the role of the gentle, piano-playing Beth.

Emma Watson stars as the eldest sister, Meg, a role she stepped into earlier this year with a bit of “Hollywood irony.” Watson took over the part from Emma Stone, who had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts.

Social media users were quick to point out the coincidence, as Watson was famously considered for Stone’s Oscar-winning role in La La Land before the stars essentially swapped projects for this production.

As if the sisterly bond wasn’t enough star power, the ensemble includes acting royalty. The legendary Meryl Streep joins the cast as the formidable Aunt March, while Laura Dern stars as the family’s beloved matriarch, Marmee.

With Gerwig at the helm and a cast full of Hollywood’s brightest young stars, the countdown to the holiday season is officially on.

Little Women is set to hit theaters on Dec. , , making it the ultimate Christmas treat for cinema lovers everywhere.

The aesthetic is cozy, the cast is A-list, and the hype is very real. It’s safe to say the March sisters are about to take over our social media feeds all winter long.
