PauseRewind’s Kevin Zeman caught up with “Criminal Minds: Evolution” star RJ Hatanaka, who opened up about working with the “Heated Rivalry” star.
“He showed up before ‘Heated Rivalry’ blew up and became what it has become. So he’s he worked with us right before that,” Hatanaka said.
He continued, “He’s a great guy. All we have to work on is he was hired for the show because he’s a great actor, and his role, I think, grew from what it originally was supposed to be because he’s wonderful, and he’s just a great guy.”
As for Storrie’s role, Hatanaka teased what we can expect. “He starts as a very complex boyfriend who’s a suspect of one of our females on the show, and he’s really just kind of a troublemaker, and he’s a difficult person to trust, and that doesn’t go away. But he’s also acting on emotion. Within the next few episodes, there’s some really interesting things that happened with Connor’s character.”
Storrie begins his four-episode arc on “Criminal Minds: Evolution” as Lance Kingston, starting Saturday, July 11, in the episode titled “The Witching Hour.” Lance is an obsessive, violent ex-boyfriend who becomes a key figure in the BAU’s ongoing Sicarius investigation,” per Entertainment Weekly.
