Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have reportedly ended their marriage after nearly 17 years together. According to TMZ, sources with direct knowledge of the situation said the couple recently separated and are now moving forward with a divorce.
The actress and film producer first crossed paths in 2004 while working on Fantastic Four in Vancouver. Alba played Sue Storm in the superhero movie, while Warren worked as an assistant to the director.
Their relationship eventually became romantic, and Warren later recalled just how quickly he fell for Alba. During a 2022 YouTube video with his wife, he admitted that he had fallen in love with her from the moment they met.
The couple’s relationship moved quickly. In December 2007, Alba and Warren announced that they were expecting their first child. They also revealed their engagement that same month.
Just months later, on May 19, 2008, they quietly married at the Beverly Hills courthouse. Their first child, daughter Honor Marie Warren, was born on June 7 of that year. They later welcomed daughter Haven Garner Warren in August 2011 and son Hayes Alba Warren in December 2017.
Their marriage appeared strong for many years. In May, Alba celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary with a heartfelt Instagram tribute featuring a photo of the couple dressed up for the occasion.
“16 years of marriage, 20 years together and forever to go,” Alba wrote, reflecting on their life together and the challenges of building a family. She also expressed pride in how they had continued choosing each other through difficult times.
However, rumors about trouble in their marriage began circulating in the months that followed. Both Alba and Warren were spotted in public without their wedding rings, fueling speculation that their relationship may have been going through a difficult period.
Alba was recently seen without her wedding band while attending a pre-Golden Globes party. She had also appeared ringless while visiting Rome with film producer Andrea Iervolino. The pair are working together on the upcoming biographical film Maserati: The Brothers. Warren was likewise spotted without his ring while out in Los Angeles earlier this month.
The former couple’s last known public appearance together reportedly took place on November 10, when they sat courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers game at Crypto.com Arena.
This isn’t the first time Alba and Warren have experienced a temporary breakup. In the early stages of their relationship, they briefly separated after dating for about four months.
Warren later opened up about that period during a 2023 appearance on the Whine Down with Jana Kramer podcast. He admitted that jealousy had contributed to their breakup and said the time apart forced him to reflect on his behavior and find healthier ways to deal with those feelings.
Despite the challenges they faced over the years, Alba and Warren built a family together and remained partners for more than a decade. As reports of their divorce move forward, their three children—Honor, Haven, and Hayes—remain the most important part of the family they created together.
