Jessica Alba is trading in her dark espresso brown brown locks for a sun-kissed beauty transformation ahead of summer. On April 26, the Honest Company founder had fans dreaming of warmer days ahead as she debuted her lightest hair color in 7 months, courtesy of a “Café Con Leche” dye job.
In images posted by her hairstylist Brittney Ryan on Instagram, Alba could be seen showing off different angles of her “fresh and brighter color.” In the first selfie, the mom of three looked radiant as she smoldered at the camera, illuminating her features with ribbons of buttery blonde woven throughout a caramel base.
The bright money pieces framed her face with chin-length layers and a lighter golden color at the bottom of her chest-length curls. Alba’s strands were parted down the middle, styled in glossy mermaid waves—emphasizing the beachy feel of her new color.
The Sin City alum posed in a black knit sweater and accentuated her new golden glow with luminous foundation, rose-gold smoky eyeshadow, a petal pink lip stain, and fluffy brows. In a second photo, Alba tucked her hair behind her ear, showing off a slightly darker base color as she posed for a selfie with Ryan.
Alba’s caramel hair color has been her signature during her decades-long career, but she swapped her gilded highlights for her darkest hair color in years after attending Comic Con in Los Angeles last September. The Fantastic Four actress looked ready for fall as she showed off inky waves at the world premiere of Valentina on October 3 in Mill Valley, California.
