Jessica Alba is stepping into a whole new role for KATSEYE’s latest music video. The actress and Honest Company co-founder makes a memorable cameo in the group’s visual for “Gabriela,” playing a powerful executive with a commanding presence.
Inspired by the dramatic style of classic telenovelas, the music video casts Alba as a sharp and confident businesswoman. She takes center stage in a striking scarlet suit, accessorizing the look with oversized gold hoops and a statement rose-shaped pendant.
In the storyline, Alba portrays the CEO of the fictional Gabriela Enterprises and challenges the members of KATSEYE to prove that they have what it takes to follow in her footsteps. What begins as a fierce battle for power eventually turns into the group’s signature combination of music and choreography.
KATSEYE was formed through Dream Academy, the 2023 reality competition created in partnership with South Korean entertainment company HYBE. Since making their debut, the group has continued building a global following, and Alba’s appearance adds an unexpected Hollywood touch to their latest release.
The actress has been balancing her professional projects with plenty of time dedicated to her daughters, Honor and Haven. Last month, Alba enjoyed a girls’ night out with both teenagers when they attended a Kendrick Lamar and SZA concert at SoFi Stadium.
Sharing several videos and photos from the evening on Instagram, Alba called it “the best night w my girls,” giving fans a glimpse of the trio enjoying the show together.
Honor and Haven are Alba’s two oldest children with Cash Warren. The former couple also share a son, Hayes, and separated earlier this year after years together.
Since the split, Alba has occasionally shared more personal reflections about navigating a new chapter in her life. In an Instagram post shared around her birthday in April, the actress appeared to open up about her healing process and the pressure she has sometimes placed on herself.
She reflected on how her drive for perfection could become exhausting and said she was learning to make room for self-acceptance, including accepting her flaws and letting go of the need to control everything.
Looking ahead, Alba said she wanted to feel loved, seen, and accepted, while reminding herself that she deserves to pursue even her biggest dreams.
From playing an intimidating CEO in KATSEYE’s latest music video to spending meaningful time with her daughters, Alba appears to be embracing both her creative side and her personal growth. Her latest role may be fictional, but the confidence and determination she brings to it feel very much like the woman she is becoming in real life.
