Jessica Alba took her Halloween look to the next level this year, giving her futuristic astronaut costume a decidedly sultry twist. On October 31, the Honest Company founder traded her usual beachwear for a daring sheer space-themed ensemble that showed plenty of skin.
In a video shared with her millions of Instagram followers, Alba first appeared makeup-free in a black bathrobe, with clips holding back her blonde-highlighted hair. A quick transition then revealed her finished Halloween transformation.
The actress wore a white NASA-inspired jumpsuit made from sheer, iridescent material, complete with black suspenders and contrasting details along the sleeves and legs. The suit featured a zipper running down the front, which Alba left dramatically open to her waist. The revealing styling showcased much of her toned midsection and a black bra underneath.
To complete the futuristic ensemble, Alba styled her highlighted hair in soft curls with a center part and added oversized mirrored sunglasses with a sleek sci-fi design. She finished her beauty look with smoky eyes, glowing skin, and a touch of light pink lip gloss.
The Halloween transformation came shortly after Alba publicly embraced her relationship with actor Danny Ramirez during a trip to Australia, adding another glamorous moment to what has been an eventful year for the actress.
Alba also used the holiday as an opportunity to revisit some of her memorable Halloween costumes from previous years. Among the looks featured on her Instagram Story were a classic witch costume and an outfit inspired by the comedy series Absolutely Fabulous.
She also looked back at a particularly daring costume inspired by Britney Spears. Posing alongside a friend dressed in the pop star’s iconic schoolgirl outfit from “…Baby One More Time,” Alba recreated another famous Spears-inspired fashion moment.
For that costume, Alba wore a sheer bodysuit decorated with strategically placed rhinestones, leaving her legs exposed. Crystal embellishments also covered parts of the long sleeves and legs of the outfit, adding plenty of sparkle to the provocative ensemble.
She completed the look with sleek platinum-blonde hair and bangs, creating a striking resemblance to Spears. Smoky eye makeup, nude lips, and sculpted cheekbones added the finishing touches.
