Brick Exposes Ava, Sonny Is Drew’s Next Poisoning Target | General Hospital Spoilers
Port Charles is heading toward another explosive showdown, and this time, Ava Jerome may have walked straight into Drew Cain’s carefully designed trap. Ava believes she is helping Drew take down Sonny Corinthos, but the truth behind his plan could be far more dangerous than she ever imagined.
Everything began when tensions between Ava and Sonny reached a breaking point. Knowing exactly how angry and vulnerable Ava was, Drew approached her with an offer she could hardly refuse. He promised that together they could finally bring Sonny down. However, there was one obstacle standing in their way: Jack Brennan.
Drew convinced Ava to keep Brennan distracted while he searched the man’s hotel room for crucial evidence. Ava agreed, believing this was simply the first step toward getting revenge on Sonny. But Drew may have deliberately used Sonny’s name to keep Ava from questioning his real intentions.
Martin Grey is already suspicious. When Drew asked him for help obtaining something important, Martin demanded to know exactly why Drew needed it and who his ultimate target was. His questions suggest that Drew’s revenge plan is much bigger than he wants everyone to believe. Nina Reeves and Willow Cain could actually be much higher on Drew’s revenge list than Sonny. After everything that happened between Drew and Nina—including the shocking incident at the Quartermaine boathouse—his anger toward her has only grown darker.
And now Brick may be the person who blows everything wide open. Sonny’s trusted ally has been watching Ava and Drew closely, and he appears to have uncovered enough clues to expose their secret alliance. Once Brick reveals what Ava has been doing, Sonny could learn that Ava has been working with Drew behind his back.
But there is an even darker possibility. If Drew turns his attention toward Nina after dealing with Brennan, Ava could realize she was nothing more than a pawn. Worse, Sonny could suddenly become Drew’s next target in a far more sinister plan involving poisoning. When Ava discovers she has been manipulated, Drew may quickly learn that betraying Ava Jerome comes with a devastating price. And with Brick ready to expose the truth, Port Charles could be seconds away from total chaos.
