Jennifer Aniston is entering the new year with Jim Curtis by her side.
Six months after the actress, 56, and the hypnotherapist, 50, were first linked, a source tells PEOPLE that they are still going strong heading into 2026.
“She had a great end to the year and feels really good about where things are with Jim,” the source says of Aniston. “She’s excited about this new year and what’s ahead, especially with Jim by her side now. Jen’s always been fine on her own and comfortable being single, but her relationship with Jim is just different.”
“She’s very happy and comfortable,” adds the source. “He’s just so sweet and supportive of her. He makes her everyday life better.”
Earlier this week, the pair was spotted at Godmother’s bookstore in Summerland, Calif., where Aniston supported Curtis as he hosted his “A Deep Reset for the New Year” event on Jan. 3.
Aniston and Curtis sparked romance rumors in July when photos captured them looking cozy on a yacht in Mallorca, Spain, alongside stars including Jason Bateman, his wife Amanda Anka and Amy Schumer.
Shortly after, multiple sources confirmed the relationship to PEOPLE, with one insider stating, “[They are] casually dating and having fun.” Another shared that the couple had “been seeing each other for a few months” at the time.
“They were introduced by a friend and started out as friends,” the source further revealed, calling the Friends alum “grounded, fulfilled and very happy” with her new beau. “Jen had read his book and was familiar with his work. She’s really into self-help and wellness. They are dating, but it’s still casual.”
According to his website, Curtis has worked in the health and wellness space for more than two decades and specializes in helping people “step into the fullest version of themselves.”
Throughout their relationship, the author has attended various events in support of Aniston, including a LolaVie launch event and the premiere of The Morning Show season 4 in New York City.
In August, a source told PEOPLE that Curtis “really appreciates and feels proud of everything she’s built,” but has also helped Aniston “turn inwards and slow down,” as she is “so used to going 100 miles an hour while balancing projects” in her career.
“She can be very hard on herself … He supports her in a way that feels new,” the insider said.
In September, Aniston debuted Curtis on her Instagram in a photo dump captioned, “Thank you summer.” He was once again featured on her Instagram in November, when she shared a rare photo of them embracing in celebration of his birthday.
“Happy birthday my love,” she wrote. “Cherished ❤️”
Two weeks later, they made their first public appearance together at Elle‘s Women in Hollywood event at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., where Aniston was given one of the Women in Hollywood honors. Although Curtis did not join her on the red carpet, they were photographed together inside the event.
In a rare interview for the magazine’s December 2025/January 2026 Issue, Aniston gushed over Curtis: “Hypnotism is one of the many things that he does. He’s quite extraordinary, and helps many, many people. He’s very special, very normal, and very kind, and wants to help people heal, move through their trauma and stagnation into clarity.”
She added, “It’s a beautiful thing to commit your life to.”
