Jennifer Aniston Unveils Dramatic Workout Transformation: ‘I Broke My Body’

Jennifer Aniston is proving once again that age is just a number!

The Friends alum, , nearly broke the internet on Tuesday when she showcased her incredibly toned physique in a new campaign for the fitness brand Pvolve. In a series of stunning photos shared to Instagram, Aniston posed in a plunging black bodysuit, showing off her sculpted arms and core while utilizing the brand’s signature strength-training equipment.

Hours later, the actress took fans behind the scenes of the shoot with a high-energy video, giving her million followers a closer look at the intensive movements that keep her looking red-carpet ready. “A little BTS of the making of our new @pvolve campaign,” she captioned the clip. “Come work out with us!!”

The post immediately went viral, with fans flocking to the comments to praise the star’s dedication to her health. But while Aniston looks like she’s in the best shape of her life, she’s the first to admit that her path to fitness wasn’t always this sustainable.

In a candid conversation with InStyle, The Morning Show star opened up about her past “obsessive” approach to exercise, revealing that she used to push herself to the brink of exhaustion.

“When you’re in a mindset of, ‘I need to do minutes of cardio or I won’t get a good workout,’ it’s daunting,” she shared. “I believed it for so long. I just burnt out and broke my body.”

Aniston explained that the repetitive nature of her old routine—like endless sessions on the StairMaster—left her feeling “insane fatigue” and in constant pain. Now, she hits her tailored Pvolve workouts five days a week, focusing on a method designed specifically to work with a woman’s physiology and hormonal transitions.

“You’re not thinking or really getting a good workout when you’re doing something over and over again,” Aniston noted. With her new low-impact approach, she says those days of being “broken” are long gone.

The star also sat down with PEOPLE last year to demystify her routine, insisting that anyone can get started. “You just start in little tiny chunks, tiny steps,” she encouraged. “And then next thing you know, you’ve done four -minute classes because you just want to keep going.”

Aniston is especially passionate about sharing this message with women entering their “lovely older periods,” emphasizing the need to be “kinder to our bodies.”

Of course, looking like an A-lister involves more than just the gym. Aniston also recently shared her “comically” disciplined hydration and clean-eating habits with Women’s Health.

Her day starts with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in water, followed by her morning coffee. Lunch and dinner usually consist of lean protein and plenty of vegetables, with snacks like apple and almond butter or popcorn to keep her fueled.

But even Jen knows the importance of balance! The actress revealed she treats herself to something “extra special” on the weekends—all while drinking “so much water that it’s comical.”

With her glowing skin and powerhouse energy, it’s clear that Jen’s new era of “kind” fitness is a total win.
