We wanted to send some love to Beyond the Gates‘ Arielle Prepetit (Naomi) as she grieves the loss of her beloved pup. The CBS soap star took to her official Instagram to pay tribute to her boy and shared some beautiful photos, ones she’ll cherish forever.
“My sweet boy Kobe gave us 15 incredible years,” Prepetit began then went on to state, “That’s half my life. The most beautiful, loving, gentle giant and I can’t believe we got so lucky with this perfect pup. He truly was the bestest boy and part of our family. I’m going to miss him so much but he’s always going to hold a special place in my heart.”

Many of her castmates came out to send her some love, including Jon Lindstrom (Joey), who expressed, “Oh Arielle, I’m so sorry to learn this. It’s a day we all dread. They give so much more than they get. And 15 years! Well done, you.” Mike Manning (Smitty) chimed in as well and shared, “Aww Kobe the handsome boy. Sorry for your loss. 15 years is great for that breed,” as the soap’s headwriter, Michele Val Jean, added, “I’m so sorry, Arielle. It’s devastating to lose them. Sending much love.”
And again, we too send Prepetit a big virtual hug during this difficult time. May her memories with Kobe help her through.
