FANS of EastEnders were left having a good laugh after spotting a blunder on the show.
The error happened while Oscar was chatting to Cindy on Wednesday night’s episode of the popular soap.
In the scene Oscar is sitting at a table in a cafe scrolling on his phone when Cindy notices him and walks over to chat.
She says: “Oscar! I was thinking… what with everything your uncle Jack’s been through. Would you be up for organising your dad’s stag do?”
Oscar continues to scroll on his phone while Cindy is talking, and in a hilarious shot showing the phone’s screen fans noticed it isn’t actually connected to the internet.
Fans took to Reddit to chuckle at the moment and see if others spotted it too.
One user said: “Couldn’t they have cropped it out,” followed by a laughing face emoji.
A second shared: “I didn’t spot that!”
A third suggested: “Just load a normal Instagram feed or something. Or just don’t show the screen.”
Though another fan thought the blooper was perfectly fitting for Oscar’s nonchalant character, adding: “I know it was probably just a mistake but it does kind of fit his character, just pretending to scroll to avoid talking to Cindy properly.”
Pierre Counihan-Moullier, the actor who plays Oscar, joined EastEnders last year.
The character of Oscar was last seen on the soap in 2017, but Pierre took over the role to portray him as a teenager.
Fans love his character on the show because he’s so naturally funny yet at the same time they’ve got to see him mature throughout his years on screen.
